We are helping organizations build a strategy and execution capabilities  that are anchored on purpose and sustainable values.

We want these organizations to do better than being resilient to disruption, we want them to harvest it.

Marco Mancesti

Marco's passion is to provide innovative ways to guide leaders and organizations through the labyrinth of complex dilemmas and transitions.

He is a renowned expert in strategy and leadership, serving as a trusted advisor, coach, mentor and sparring partner to CxO's facing difficult challenges or N-2's preparing to take on C-Suite roles.
He also facilitates strategy workshops for companies or business units.

Certified change management Practitioner (PROSCI) and Facilitator-Master Coach for sustainable teams with 18 drivers Actitudes™, Marco brings a unique combination of hands-on experience and innovation to the table.
Through extensive observation of numerous organizations, leaders, and teams, he developed a distinct management theory called Gerositus® (from latin, manage in situation). This approach is grounded in the principle of systems thinking and constant change. For example, it asserts that a plan becomes outdated at the moment of its inception, as from the time of strategy design to execution, the context has already shifted. Thus change has to be put at the center of the thinking, not in the periphery.
The Implementagility™ model is based on the Gerositus® theory, and boosted by a digital platform to allow a powerful visualization.

Other methodologies are also based on Gerositus®: the 'tripolarity model' for stakeholder engagement, the 3 filters method for decision-making, or the PIKES model for the recruitment of resilient project teams.

With a solid foundation in business administration and management skills sharpened at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Marco's career began in the pharma/biotech field, where he gained invaluable experience working with executive teams and participating in a major corporate merger.

His tenure as R&D Director at IMD for over a decade, particularly during the challenging times of the 2008 financial crisis, allowed him to focus his research on agility in a volatile world (VUCA). His insights on this topic, for example "Is VUCA the end of strategy and leadership", are among the most read on Google.

As an educator, Marco teaches strategy, stakeholder management, decision-making, learning organizations and mastering presence in several institutions and customized in-company programs, bringing real-world examples into the classroom.

He is fluent in English, Italian, and French.
